I'm so excited- I just got pics of the wedding from Grace. (check out her site for more pictures!) I still need to go through them all - but here's a teaser for now.
I used a variety of gold overlays for placemats, as well as wrapped the candles in the overlays (and used pearl pushpins to adhere to candle). The frames on each of the tables, used our white on white raffle leaf paper, and i used the silhouette to cut out the shape. In each frame was a name of a band who played there in the past.
I thought i do a quick post to share my new name since i got married. I'm now Allison Abad(instead of Allison Kreft) It's pronounced ey- bad. I think it has a cool sound to it!! Along with that my e-mail is also changing, which i'll be sending an update about soon. (the old one will also work for another month or so.) I've also been inspired by all the projects the DT girls have been doing, and i have one to share, but it will have to be after Christmas, since i don't want to spoil the surprise on here. I'll be heading out to Chicago in a few days for the Holidays, but we will still be posting more projects from the girls! As promised i also wanted to share a few pics from the wedding. I was very lucky that Grace was our photographer! At some point i'll get a little gallery together. I still need to share the whole wedding invitation, plus some pics inside the venue - you know i used some hambly products to help decorate!!
The day of the wedding i gave Zach the original screens from the wedding invitations framed as a gift!
It was so cool to see our names on the sign outside!
There's this great alley in the mission covered in colorful murals by lots of different artists. We thought it be a great background for some pics. If you look closely the golden gate bridge is behind us.....behind all the fog. It was a perfect SF day! Photobooth pics- always fun!
Hi Everyone! I'll be taking a bit of a blogging break for the next 2 weeks. I'm getting married, and going on a honeymoon (and won't have any internet access). I'll be back Nov. 24, so if you need anything while i'm gone, please call or e-mail Rose in the office. Take Care, Allison
(Here's a pic a friend took of my flowers!! They are made from plexiglass and have different vintage buttons, earrings and other goodies in the middle, i'll post more pics when i'm home)
We just silk-screened my wedding invites at Hambly last week! Only 2 months left....ahh! (lots to do)
I also had fun using my silhouette to die-cut these fun labels for the reply card. I love that little machine :) Zach also helped and designed the frames in Adobe Illustrator, maybe he'll be designing some product for us in the future, i was very impress with his bézier curve skills.
I thought i was going to have the hardest time finding stamps that looked good on the invite. I was trilled when i saw they release Charles & Ray Eames stamps in June of this year. So perfect, these are the best stamps i've ever seen!!!
